I love to go and eat breakfast here, could end up 400 lbs if I went every
day. Some of the customers look as though they do, and some look as though
they have never moved from the seats. This is very good fairly plain
cooking, but with touches that make a big difference. I love the fried
apples. The ham and green beans is good too, even though you have to get
used to the fact that everywhere in the south over cooks the beans in
this dish. Coming from a country that is always being wrongly accused
of over cooking the veggies, I was surprised by this dish being so popular.
Perhaps some vegetables just beg to be overcooked, to a grey colour?

Very good place to eat. Great to take the family as long as your
not in a hurry, it is always fairly busy. But the service is good
considering how busy they usually are. There is a wide variety
of food on the menu

The service and food has always been great here. I eat here every
week and never get tired of the hashbrown cassarole.

Always busy but good place to go for a home cook meal! Normally
plan for a bit of a wait although, I have been seated immediately
several times. Food is always good, plentiful and hot. Service
is one of the best. Enjoy a wide range of items on the menu from a
complete breakfast around $8 to yanke pot roast for $11. Great
atmoshere with wood burning fireplaces in the cooler months.
Enjoy this American delight!

I love the shrimp dinner. Its fresh, and not pre battered. The
amount of food is extreme for the price.

Always great food guarenteed to fill you up. There may be a wait,
but go out and sit in the rocking chairs out front or look around
the little country store. Love the food and atmosphere.

Good food, good atmosphere. If you can get in the place. Usually
crowded. near the interstate. Don't show up hungry on a weekend
around dinner time, you'll starve waiting to get in.

One of our favorite places to eat in Elizabethtown. The food is
always very good. The service is usually good. It is a very busy
place because of its location by I65. Sometimes your wait is over
30 minutes, but our experience as a party of two has been from 0
- 20 minutes. Usually the more in your party the longer the wait.
