The food a Vita Cafe is to die for. The new patio addition really adds to the environment. It is hard to find a vegan swiss steak dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, a Monte Cristo, or a tofurkey sandwich anywhere else. Free range, hormone free beef is also available for your meat eating friends and family. The service is quite slow (waiters, not cooks), but the excellent food at very reasonable prices makes it well worth the wait... just don't go if you're looking to spend less than an hour or so for lunch. Highly recommended for vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike.

Vita offers a variety of Vegan and Vegitarian cuisine that is delicious. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the formation of the menue and the decor as well. An excellant choice for the alternative eating lifestyle!
