Very authentic resturant. Definitely my favorite Mexican place
in Chicagoland. The food is great and very reasonably priced.
Very clean place. Watch out for the drinks, they are quite strong.
The Menudo is great for hangovers. If you wait for your check,
you will be there all night, so you need to either get up and start
to leave, or ask for the check. Pay up front. MC/Visa accepted.
It is a small place, so smoke from the bar may invade your area.
Good for kids, although there is no children's menu. You can special
request about anything for kids like a simple plate of chicken
and rice.

This is a small family-owned restaurant and bar. The proprietor
is originally from the State of Jalisco, Mexico and has been in
the US since the 50's. Her specialties are the soups and menudo.
She uses only fresh ingredients and makes all of the dishes herself
daily. If you like it really hot try the "Diablo" sauce. There
are plenty of dishes for the more mild tastes. Our favorites are:
steak fajitas, chicken enchiladas with green sauce, pork stew
with green or red sauce and steak in diablo sauce. The resturant
is very clean.
