Let me start off by saying that this was my worst dining experience ever in downtown San Diego. On 7/22/2006 I met up with friends attending the comic book convention, we picked the Blarney Stone for some lunch. The door man made some rude comments to my girlfriend but none the less we proceeded, no help to find a table so we found our own, waiting for over 5 minutes I had to find the menu's. About 10 minutes after we sat the waitress finally came over and took our order. we proceeded to wait 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive and our waitress had forgotten our waters and a coke, needless to say I had to go to the bar and order from there. About 30 minutes after our order our food came. The food was cold, the french fries were soggy and cold, the salad was welted and soggy the food was overall below average, I would have rather eaten at McDonald's. We ask to speak with the manager about the food, after speaking with 2 servers(never did speak with the manager) the took of 2 of the en tree's. I then payed the bill, as I was awaiting my receipt a server had dropped a side of ranch dressing on the ground next to me....the ranch had splashed up all over my shirt and shorts I was wearing. The only response from the server was I'm sorry as he walked away continuing his job duties. Not only was I embarrassed, but had no help from any of the servers to help clean me up, my clothes were ruined and stained. I received no form of apologize nor any compensation for my ruined clothes. I have never been treated so horribly, I have received better service in Denny's. I will never recommend anyone to this restaurant in fact my experience with the service was so bad I have recommended people not to eat at this establishment. If the Blarney Stone Pub wants to compensate for my clothes I was wearing I feel this would be the least they could do. Please do not eat at this restaurant.

Thank you for you time.

I love this place , the atmosphere is absolutely amazing, thanx to the awsome guy/ manager Mr. Tom Dowd who will make sure that all of your needs and wants are tended to promptly and strives to ensure that you have an outstanding time while you visit the Blarney Stone Irish pub. This guy is the personality of the establishment. So make sure to ask for him if you need anything above and beyond the norm. Much respect for this place.

Yeah, thats right 20-30 bucks because I could barely stand when I left!! Probably get in and out for 10-15 if you're not there all day drinking. Menu is limited but tasty bar fare as to be expected from an Irish pub. Pretty cool atmosphere later on at night.

Pretty funny name, but great food, and greater beer. Im not a heavy drinker, but I usually dont get buzzed when I drink with food, but I was pretty tipsy when I left this place.

Great Irish atmoshpere. Excellent food. Pub feel, so menu is somewhat limited, as to be expected. Place livens up at night. Awesome beer selection, go for the Guiness draft. Fun place to be.

Great for Lunch Time or even Breakfast, only Sat & Sun. Good for lunch (Mon - Fri), Just 3 blocks from San Diego's Convention Center... Live Music Wed-Sun, There's one bartender (Tony), been there for the last 10 years...Only @ night... The only one can "fix the right drink/cocktail in SDiego"
