WOW!!!
This one wasn't on here yet!
They had Doug's and the Hungry Coyote, but
not the Pizza Place. How terrible!
The Pizza Place is _the_ place you must eat
in Tropic. The other restaurants are nice, but
they are comparable to other places I've been.
This one is truly unique.
I do not give out five stars very often.
I realize that this part of the country has
very few restaurants that qualify as five star.
Even when I really enjoy a local restaurant,
I generally go four stars. But this place is
good. From their web page, I quote:
"Often, our guests claim that our Pizza is the best they have eaten."
I can personally vouch for the accuracy of that
statement. The crowd I went there with was from
Salt Lake and they unanimously declared it to be
better than anything they'd seen in Salt Lake.
The decor is nothing special, so my advice is
to eat outside at the picnic tables.
The scenery is good and the food is worth driving 2 hours for.
