I/We frequent Gourmet Italia in Temecula on Ynez and Route 79 often.
Wonderful food, excelent presentation, convivial atmosphere/staff
and a gregarious owner who meets and greets his clientele. Always a
delightful experience.

I wish there were more places like Gourmet Italia. Some of the best lasagna
I've ever had. I hope to return again soon.

Gourmet Italia is a great resturant with wonderful food as well as a
great staff. The severs were very attentive and were really concerned
we had the pescatore and it was sooooooo good i plan to go again and again.

I only wish there were more than 5 stars to award to Gourmet Italia.
Not only is the food SUPERB, but the atmosphere is charming, warm
and comfortable...like sitting in Mama's dining room in
Italy (with the whole family). And on top of all of this, the servers
are the most accomodating that I have ever encountered and the
owner is like no other...very attentive, most gracious and very
concerned about his patrons comments. Alex takes great pride
in Gourmet Italia and will make certain that your time with them
is not just a night out for dinner, but a wonderful dining EXPERIENCE.
Don't pass this one up! This is truly Temecula's little
secret.

Ordered filet on Sat. night - tough - potatoes cold - did not eat.
Manager gave me a discount on corkage fee. I was not happy with
the outcome as I paid $25 for a dinner I could not eat!!!!

Gourmet Italia is undoubtedly the finest Italian restaurant
in Temecula. If you've never been, the hot entree to order is the
Lobster Ravioli in a tomato cream sauce with shrimp and scallops.
Outstanding! Beware, though. One entree would probably feed
two, as it is very rich. Overall, the entrees are top notch here.
The minestrone and pasta fagioli soups are to die for as well.
Atmosphere is hectic, busy and cramped. Gourmet Italia seats
only about 30, if even that. It's worth the wait, and count on doing
so virtually anytime on the weekend.
Gourmet Italia is adding a wine bar, which isn't open just yet.
It should make the wait much more inviting, as there is no lobby
to hang out in while waiting for a table.
