Fresh seafood, great views, and a reasonable wine list. The service
was quite good, and we would definitely go back. Reservations a must.

If you love seafood, this is one the restaurants you may want to visit.
Most of the chains look the same and you can even purchase fresh seafood
for home cooking. The restaraunt atmosphere is nice and the service
is great.

This is a great date restaurant! The patio setting is right on
the water of San Diego. We loved that, but it can get a bit chilly
at night. The food was outstanding, and the service was even better!
All the food was very fresh and delightful to indulge in. A nice
place to take your loved one, kids included. Give this one a try
if you come to town!

Definitely the place to go if you love seafood. The Fishmarket
is much more casual than the Top of the Market and good for a meal
with family and/or friends. Excellent seafood.

I have taken my wife to this place for just about every anniversary
in the past 12 years. Fresh caught seafood and an awesome view
of the San Diego harbor make this a very impressive spot for a relaxing
and intimate evening of fine dining! I have no favorite dish here,
everything I have eaten here is worthy of praise!

I've been living in San Diego for 20 years now, and been dining
at the Fish Market for 20 years! I was first introduced by a friend
at that time, and dine there at least 6+ times yearly.
Fresh seafood including all fish; halibut, ahi, sea bass, sole,
salmon, yellowtail, as well as the full complement of shellfish
abound on the menu!! Additionally, there is an oyster bar whereby
you can order from the full menu or ala carte menu items like prawns,
oyster Rockefeller/fromage, blue points, seafood pasta combinations,
salads, cheese garlic bread, oyster shooters, and my favorite;
the "Ducket's Bucket", (cockles, clams, and
green lip mussels in a garlic broth).
This is easily in the Top 10 for all San Diego restaurants, #1 in
my opinion for seafood restaurants, and my favorite overall.
There is casual view seating downstairs, with harbor view, and
outside seating as well for the ambience. Finally, there is a
more formal upstairs seating for the approp ...

Wonderful seafood - and FRESH. And the view over San Diego Harbor
is outstanding! A very extensive menu as well as an extensive
wine and beer list (don't avoid their house wine at $15.95/btl.
- surprisingly very good). Included is a large "hunk" of sourdough
and a fresh salad. Service is excellent. As far as we're concerned,
this is a MUST in San Diego. They also have other locations in/around
the San Diego area.
We had dinner here on 2/8/02. Prawns (huge) were over linguini
and had a tinge of garlic (not overpowering). The Sea Bass was
outstanding.
