I have been going to Lems Barbeque House for many years, the location
on S.State St. The Ribs are excellent, as well as the hot links which
I really enjoy. You can't beat the combo meal ( Rib tips, links
& fries ) all for unde $15.00. Keep up the good work and I will continue
to support you with my many visits

The mother ship is actually at 311 E. 75th St.
The Lemon family barbecue legend began in 1952 when the transplanted
Mississippians opened their first restaurant. Now a civic treasure
among the city's honest smoke shacks, Lem's has long
upheld the standard against which all Chicago barbecue should
be measured. The rib tips, with a higher ratio of meat to gristle
than you'll find at most joints, and the center-cut and small-end
slabs are finished relatively fast over a relatively hot fire,
bucking slow-smoke convention.

Kenny Ribs is the most nastiest food I ever had try. I try there
food from a couple location thinking maybe one is better than
the other, do you know that they are nasty. If you ask me that is
the reason why they don't have many location, like they use too.
Prices weren't so bad, but then again who want to eat nasty food
for cheap?

As far as ribs and rib tips go, you will not find better BBQ
in Chicago. I don't say that lightly. Go there!
