There is NOT a BETTER place in Detroit for a ham sandwich. If any one says anything else, they have NO taste buds.....

A good place to eat. Mostly a family atmosphere. The food there

Basically...it was gross. The soup was cold, and looked like it had been sitting for a while, and the sandwich was very dry. It's cheap, so that's a plus, but it's nothing special at all or something that you couldn't find somewhere else, better, for the same price at least.

None better...... The crew who work here are terrific, always smiling and joking. Try some of the southern chowders.....MMMMmmm

NOTHING BUT SANDWICHES AND SOUP......AT THE EASTERN MARKET, INSIDE THE CENTRAL MARKET....HAM, CORNED BEEF, ROAST BEEF, AND TURKEY SANDWICHES AND DAILY SOUPS....$5.25 FOR A HUGE SANDWICH....COME HUNGRY.....ALMOST AS GOOD AS LYLE'S IN DEARBORN...
