I liked the atmosphere and the menu selection, however our waitress
seemed very new, as she could not get a basic drink order correct. For
such a contemporary upscale look & feel staff needs much better
training.

We arrived at 7pm on a Friday night. We stood at the hostess stand
for 5 minutes before we were seated. WE SAT FOR HALF AN HOUR WITHOUT
BEING APPROACHED BY A WAITER!! They were NOT busy. There were
numerous available tables. There is no excuse for the TERRIBLE
service we received. It was like they didn’t know we were there,
and I doubt the noticed when we left. Countless waiters and waitresses
passed by the table the whole time we were there, but none of them
stopped to serve us. The only staff member I wouldn’t smile if
I saw fired was the water server, as my water glass was refilled
several times. So if you are thirsty, try the Back When. Otherwise,
I would not recommend this restaurant, and I will NOT return to
it again.

Best cafe. Best place to grab some lunch! Very nice Deco. Fun place
to visit. The food was okay, but the atmosphere is great.
Service was great and the people were so fun.

A very trendy place. Have alot of things on the menu you can't
get anywhere around here. More of Califorian fair. Lots brusell
sprouts. I have only had lunch there. The food was good.

The Back When is an excellent choice if you prefer great food,
coupled with awesome service! Live Music on Fridays makes dining
alot more enjoyable...it creates an atmosphere that can't
be found anywhere else in Wausau!
<br>
Check out the extensive wine list, and have a dessert, they are
incredible!

This Restaurant has a great flare for the unexpected.
The Food is wonderful, and presented nicely.
the live music on Friday night is nice, no where in town can you
get live jazz when you dine.
the Wines List is outragious, and the wines in the private stock
as one waiter puts is is something to enjoy.
The staff is from differents parts of the country, so you'll never
know what style of service you will be getting, but all the service
is great.
well worth the experance!
