If you are in Anaheim doing the Disney thing, this is a great getaway and one the kids will not mind going to either. The food is excellent, service outstanding, and the atmosphere is great for all ages. We will definitely visit this one again.

Recently visited this restaurant with family, ex-wife, 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. There was something for everyone of us. This was my first time and I was greatly impressed with the traditional style of service, lemon scented wash towels before you eat, like in Japan. The waitresses were in kimono's and service was outstanding. We had a range of delicious food, each of us taking a different plate and sharing, absolutely fantastic. They even figured out how those that can't use chopsticks(learned while overseas), can. Very ingenous. Got to go and see for yourselves. Overall, a 5-star restaurant with 5-star service, and you don't have to be dressed up.

Wow--D!mn! This is a great restaurant. Located at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel (Formerly the Disney Pacific), Yamabuki's prices are pretty steep, but the service and the food are well worth a trip. Delicious and very fresh! It's a nice break from the Disney scene, without having to brave it through downtown Anaheim's run-down Reno-like atmosphere (yes, that would be thanks to the Disney empire, but this nevertheless is a perfect respite). Try it--my new favorite Japanese restaurant!
