Home home on the range, it was a great place to take the strain off your feet, where the food wasnt cold and the tastes were real bold and the skies werent cloudy all day! Pure pleasure!

The small menu features the usual steakhouse offerings -- various cuts of beef and some chicken dishes plus a few salads -- but at a high-medium price. That said, the quality is better than we've found at the usual Vegas steakhouse suspects. A well thought out menu, and lovely staff.

It is a place that can be summed up by saying it has a wide selection, a good price, good service, and good food!

This place is worth visiting if only for the spectacular view of the Strip (few Strip restaurants take advantage of this view, oddly enough) from 40-foot-high wraparound windows. Muted copper and wood tones make for a formal but not intimidating environment and a fine-looking room. The small menu features the usual steakhouse offerings -- various cuts of beef and some chicken dishes plus a few salads -- but at a high-medium price. That said, the quality is better than we've found at the usual Vegas steakhouse suspects.

The steaks are wonderful, large and usually cooked to your liking. The room (which is located on the second floor of Harrah's) hangs out over the sidewalk so you get a great view of the northbound auto/truck traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard. Come with an appetite because the portions are very large.

The Range Steakhouse is located in Harrah's Hotel, just across from Caesars Palace. The steaks are wonderful, large and usually cooked to your liking. The room (which is located on the second floor of Harrah's) hanges out over the sidewalk so you get a great view of the northbound auto/truck traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard. Come with an appetite, because the portions are very large. If steak is on your menu, you could do a lot worse that having a great meal at The Range...

the range is a great steakhouse, great cuts of meat, and the locations that still serve hamburgers, they are the best. the service is excellent and friendly. try a chocolate martini....you can't go wrong. I highly recommend this steak house, I frequent the one in St.Louis

You'll be treated to an outstanding dining experience at The Range Steakhouse. Succulent steaks, prime rib, seafood and poultry entrées are presented in an intimate setting that boasts a spectacular view of the famed Las Vegas "Strip." Grilled-to-order steaks come in all sizes at The Range Steakhouse, from the 8-ounce filet to the 24-ounce porterhouse. The slow-roasted prime rib, with natural au jus and fresh horseradish, is served in a 12- or 16-ounce cut.
The Range also presents delicious seafood items, such as grilled Atlantic salmon fillets, swordfish steaks, giant shrimp scampi, twin lobster tails and Alaskan king crab legs, which are available as an entrée (a full pound) or a side order (a half pound). In fact, guests may order any seafood item as a side to a steak entrée, and create a surf and turf meal of their own design. Other mouth-watering entrées include free-range grilled chicken, blackened rib-eye chops or the double-cut pork loin chops.
The Range Steakhouse is open nightly from 5:30 p.m.
Although not required, reservations are recommended and may be made by calling (702) 369-5084. The dress code is upscale casual. Most entrées are priced from the low to upper 20's.
The Range Steakhouse Piano Bar offers live entertainment, nightly, from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Guests may enjoy cocktails and premium wines, appetizers, specialty coffees and fine cigars.
