Home made is the word. Everything seems to be home made; soup,
chips, tortillas, etc. Every time we eat in here, we also order
menudo "togo" for lunch the next day. Friendly service.
The restaurant is a little old, it has not changed for decades,
but this adds to the charm. Too many restaurants renovate or expand
and the food suffers.

This is probably the restaurant that my wife and I visit the most.
Very little wait...even on busy nights, good prices, a bar, friendly
wait staff, and plenty of selection...including, if you want,
ordering from Wildflower Boston Pizza next door (because they
share their kitchens).
Additionally, once, when I did have a concern, I wrote to the manager
and he responded promptly and fairly!
