Subway fans & regulars may hate me but I have to say that Subway can't compete with this place. Hero's just serves better, more delicious and fresher subs. they also don't get your order wrong even if you're very particular about what you want. i like the fact that their sandwiches are really packed with tasty, juicy meat and ingredients. definitely, a must go-to place!

The subs are definitely fresh and tasty.. THey are better the subway but I don't know if it competes with Quiznos.. DOn;t take anything away from these subs though I enjoy them alot..

aw Heros! damn good sub way better then subway. who cares about low fat here in chicago the meat must be bulging out of the bread to remind up that it there and we got our moneys worth. the ingredaints are great nice and fresh. and it is true the setting in limited, but hey sit down and eat for a bad sub or get a good sub a stand while eatting it i would stand and eat with a good sub. like they have here

Great fresh ingredients, plentiful. Don't forget to ask for exactly what you want...they'll make it dry if you don't request mayo or whatever. For the price, it's better than most.

You dont have to be tired of sub-way to crave Heros submarine sandwiches. Don't expect there to be good seating.

This is "the" submarine sandwich place. I had the good fortune of going to high school very close and we went here for lunch or after school. Currently, its a favorite stop to get a sub to take to Wrigley field for a ball game....its right on the way.
