Tomatoes Apizza

If you have ever been to Frank Pepe's in New Haven Connecticut, you know why it is considered to be the best Pizza Restaurant in the country. In this place they call pizza "Abeetz". Tomatoes Apizza is modeled after Pepes and the owner actually trained in New Haven by the same folks that run Pepe's in order to learn the business. He studied at the Culinary Institute of America and then decided to go into the Pizza business and in order to be the best, he learned from the best. The Pizza at Tomatoes is simply spectacular. It is thin crusted flavorful and perfectly prepared. I especially like the white pies which are served without tomato sauce, but has garlic, fresh basil and sliced tomatoes on it.
