I tried this place after reading in one of the San Francisco Bay Area books about how the San Francisco location had excellent food. The pizza that I had with provolone and pancetta was excellent and out of this world. The cheese was oozing. The service by the waitress was excellent. I found out that they also deliver.

It's okay for a chain, not quite sure why its okay for the same person to review it 3 times in a row. Not great, not terrible, just consistantly "okay."

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm pizza. When I want pizza, it has to be Amici's. I have loved everything I've tried there but my favourite is the New York with the fresh garlic but no parsley. They'll cook the base regular or light crust and it's never too doughy. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and all the staff are good.

A little pricey, but what pizza place isn't? Very good service depending on the waiter, and great food. I love the fact that this pizza is actually halfway healthy, if you'd like it to be!

The pizza here is delicious. What I love about this place is that the pizza is actually a health food if you order the soy cheese instead of the regular cheese, and go easy on the meat toppings. The soy cheese is a free substitute on any pizza, and you can't tell the difference! It has zero cholesterol, and a lot less fat than regular cheese. If you can't tell the difference, who wouldn't order the soy cheese? I went there last night for dinner, and I'm craving it again for lunch today. Everyone has different tastes for topping combinations, but what I found to be delicious was the soy cheese pizza with tomatoes, fresh basil, and roasted garlic. Yum!

Atmosphere: Above average Crowd: Varies (lunch-bunch) Dress: Casual Food: Above average Noise: Average Service: Average Comments: We went here for lunch. I like their contemporary, cafe-like atmosphere with good food, made quickly. The wood-fired pizza is excellent and though our service was lacking, it was adequate. I had the veggie pizza ($16) and it was excellent, flavorful, crispy, and fresh-tasting. I recommend Amici's for good pizza.
