Located on the 23rd Street restaurant row, within walking distance
of Crystal City, Cafe Italia has been in business at least 20 years,
maybe more. It is one of the two longest surviving restaurants
on 23rd Street, the other being Portofino's across the street.
Besides outstanding prime ribs, they have excellent fresh seafood,
pizza and pasta dishes. Individual preferences on preparation
are always accommodated. Service is always cheery and efficient.
I have been here probably 200 times in 20 years, including office
luncheons and dinners with business associates, and have always
been very satisfied.
