Two years have passed and we went back to The Rainforest Cafe for a 13 year old's birthday. Even at that age the kids still enjoyed it. We had great drinks (alcoholic) and appetizers. The entres were large, good and reasonably priced. Even though it is a "tourist trap" type of restaurant, we still enjoyed it and will probably go back in another couple of years.

What a fun restaurant to take kids! The restaurant atmosphere is like being in a rain forest, with animal noises, water noises, etc. There main floor is a store where tourists can buy Rain Forest goods, and the upstairs (lots of stairs to walk) is the restaurant which also has animatronics animals that the kids seem to like to watch. This is not just a restaurant for kids though. The menu is quite full and the food is quite good. I agree with Allyson that this not a place to take a client, or if you want a nice, quiet, romantic place, but it is fun and the food is good!

Great place for the kids! When you walk into this extraordinary restaurant, it's like you're walking into an actual rainforest. Not a great place to bring a business client - lots of noise. But it is certainly a very interesting and unforgettable place! The food is excellent, and I suggest the clam chowder in a bread bowl!
