I dont know why many liked this place, here is what I think. Just because you call yourself churrascaria and charge $46 for dinner, does not mean you can make good meat. I have been to 2 other churrascarias in irvine and san francisco, ca, and i have to say this is the worst one. Not just worst one - this place is plain bad! Almost all of meat was either tooo salty or too vinegary. Salad bar was not impressive as well - not that good salads, rice is average and no grilled fish and no seafood at all. Normally i like to stay a few hours in these places - here i ate for 30min, had bad taste in my mouth and left. Avoid this place....REALLY avoid.

The quality of the food at Boi Na Braza is excellent. The salad bar was fresh; the meat was hot when it arrived at the table. The waitstaff is my concern. We attempted to establish a rapport with our waiter. Very little recognition was received. We ordered desert. Before we had the opportunity to eat two bites, someone brought our check, not our waiter. Before we finished half of our desert, our waiter came back to see if we had provided our credit card for the check. We felt very rushed. Given that we spent $130 for two, I would have liked to have had a more relaxing meal. Texas de Brazil is a must nicer atmosphere if you are seeking this type of an eating experience.

We were in town for the weekend and decided to check out the Brazilian restaurant. The atmosphere was special, well decorated and set us at ease. The service was outstanding. Several waiters taking extra care of us and seeing to it that we had everything we wanted. The food was fantastic. Never had so many tasty types of meats before. By the end of the meal we were all extremely satisfied and plan to return again in November.

If you have not yet been to a Brazilian Churascaria, it really is worth checking out. Very unique and fun dining experience. Come hungry. Vegetarians will probably no enjoy the sight of large slabs of meat being paraded around the dining room and being sliced tableside. Overall, a pleasant experience. A bit pricey for what it is in my opinion, but definately worth trying.

There are several of these type "churrascarias" offerings in the area, however, this one stands out because of its atmosphere and service. Fogo de Chao *was* my favorite until this came along.
Lunch is reasonably priced, but you'll need a nap after so much wonderful food. Dinner pricing is about the same as Fogo's, perhaps a few dollars less.
Like the others, their "house" specialty meat is their best, and they have at least two types of lamb on their list of nine choices of beef, chicken, pork and sausages.
Another plus is their desserts, such as the mango mouse with raspberry liqueur drizzle, or the decadent chocolate cake. There are other great-looking ones, but I've tried these.
The salad bar compares favorably to Fogo's with more hot items, and both their's and Fogo's are much better than Tejas-de-Brazil's.
Also, would recommend ... more

My husband and I went to this restaurant with another couple for Valentine's Day and it was truly wonderful. The seasoning of all the different types of meat they offer makes your mouth water. I've never seen such an elaborate salad bar. The service was unlike any other upscale restaurant. The "waiters" truly make you feel as though you're the only person in the restaurant. There is a variety of meat to choose from and it is definitely for the meat-eater. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food was by far better than most. We will definitely go again.

The thrill of trying a new cuisine wast the draw to this restaurant. It is for the "true carnivore!" All kinds of roasted meats; but really nothing special. A group of us went there and the opinions were mixed. One of the group, a Brizilian by birth, gave a thumbs down. The majority of the gathering gave a "good" rating, for which I agree. The service was good. I am glad that I went and experienced the restaurant but would not return. Worth a try just for the fun of it.
