Tasty, tasty, tasty. I had a whole sea bream, & while it was very
tasty, the sauce was a bit sweet-n-sour, too much sauce. I've also
tasted their vegetarian curry. Very spicy! Overall, delicious food,
but the menu is overpriced $5 on average per item. Is it the location?
The service is very slow, but I hear that the Jerk Hut is well known for
its slow service. A great place to hang out w/ friends. Not recommended
necessarily for the food itself or to have a date there.

This tiny, brightly colored shack-style restaurant has some slammin
food. They have all kinds of meats, chicken, pork, shrimp and fish,
served jamaican jerk style with an extra kick of hot. The bbq chicken
is good too, if you can't do spicy. The place is very laid back and
the food is served very casually, but if you have a taste for spicy island
foods, you have got to check this place out.

This is the best Jamaican food in Philly. Large portions, and
the most delicious plantains. I know that everyone loves the
jerk chicken, but don't skip the curry chicken, either.
For dessert, they have about 4 or 5 cakes and pies. The atmosphere
is so-so...VERY casual. Parking ok, it's on South Street,
but not in the busier areas.

The braised ox tail is good, wash it down with a spicey ginger beer.

Their Jerk Chicken is out of this world! They also have interesting
beverages and side dishes.
