Stepping into this quaint coffeehouse is a treat in itself. You get a warm comfortable feeling once you walk in and the employees are also very friendly. They have a great sandwich. The one I tried was the Baja Chicken sandwich. It was delicious. It has chicken, celery, walnuts & cayenne pepper. They use a soft white bread (tellera). I also had their fideo soup. It tasted just as if my mom had made it that morning. It is rare to find an establishment that serves fideo soup. They have latin folk art from various countries that they have up for sale. This restuarant is not in uptown but in the north side of Whittier. They serve waffles and a chicken pozole on weekends. We hear they're great and we are going to stop by and give them a try this weekend!
