This has been my favorite restaurant and will always be. The "golden"
sauce turns everything into prefecion. I miss the bean sprout "course".
It was taken out about five years ago. All of the courses hat remain are
unbelieveable. The lobser crown dinner with the shrimp appetizer
is mind-blowing. Don't be afraid of the sauce. It's an indulgence
you MUST partake in. Worth every penny.

Great restaurant. Great service, they seat with you with other people
if you don't have many with you and you get to meet some nice and interesting
people, the food is to die for but can get a bit pricy. they cook on your
table and make it a very enjoyable night. Great idea for a first date
to impress

Japanese steakhouse featuring communal dining, tabletop cooking,
and an unchanging menu. Loads of fun!

Whew, quite pricey. Good, but up there. Was a fairly fun evening,
with a crowded dining room, and lots of drinks. Fun for a group.
Not likely what you'd choose for a romantic evening.

I've been going to Ron of Japan for he last 20 years. The former
owner at the one downtown knew us by first name. Although the atmosphere
as degraded a bit as a result of commercialism, the food has not.

with Bennihana are crazy. Suffice it to say, Jon of Japan is the
ORIGINAL. Bennihana tried to copy it and didn't succeed.

This is the best Japaneese restaurant in town. Second to none.
The quality of food is outstanding and prepared according to
your specifications. The cooks are polite, diligent, and
do not put a show on with your food.
It is known for its Kogon Yaki which is an egg yolk sauce placed
on shrimp and cooked with saki at 500 degrees.
Also, watch how they do the beef fried rice and lobster.
You will not be disapointed if you go.

food. And yes, they cook right in frount of you.
My favorite dish is the shrimp with egg on top.
The atmosphere is fun. The service is great. Child friendly and
the more the merrier!

great atmosphere and food, BUT...after spending $175 for three
of us on food and drinks, the hostess asked us to get up off of our
table about 10 minutes after we were finished because she had
another party to seat. I could not believe it. Hospitality rating
(1 out of 5!!!)

This is by far the coolest restaurant. They cook everyting in
front of you and then they will make a big flame (but just for a couple
seconds). The food is excellent and I would definetly suggest
the fried rice and beef. The seafood is also really good. The only
bad thing about ron of japan is that you come out of the restaurant
smelling like chinese food and it sticks to your clothes.
