This is an excellent place to go for any meal for not much money. The food is great for the price and there is always a steady flow of people in and out. It's also great if you like to watch the trains go by on the old Burlington line to Chicago.

IT is great food for cheap price.. The assortment is very nice for a family owned resturaunt.. great service.. Everytime you go in there it is the same servers and cooks so it is very freindly.. THe breakfast portions are huge a long with lunch and dinner.. Breakfast is also served all day long...

A family owned and operated restaurant. They cater primarily to the blue collar trade and stay busy. They have a good menu, good food, very low prices, and good friendly service. They serve 3 meals a day and offer breakfast all open hours. Average meal is soup/salad, entree, and dessert. All generous portions, and daily specials. All for under $7. They do fill up at meal time. I promise, you will not buy better for less. They also offer mexican entrees. This is not a 4 Star restaurant but is certainly 4 stars for the kind of place that it is. I eat there on occasion and recommend it for a basic quick, inexpensive, and tasty meal. It is clean but has been around for a long time and does show signs of wear.
