Portions are large and prices are low at this north-side Japanese
restaurant where kimono-clad servers greet you at the door.
Many patrons are devoted to sushi chef Roberto Pina, who gained
a following during his tenure at the now-defunct Benkay Room
in the Hotel Nikko.

Excellent value and very good food. I believe the management
changed within the past several years, and there might be a branch
in the suburbs.

This may be the best Sushi restaurant in Chicago. Sushi Chef Roberto
Pena has been making Sushi here for the last several years. Prior
to this he was at the Nikko Hotel and at Ohba Restaurant in Chicago.
Spicy Tuna, Spicy Negihamachi, Midori Roll are just a few of the
great Maki made here. Sushi portions are large. Entrees (especially
the Salmon Teriyaki) are large portions and nicely presented.
This definitely a neighborhood restaurant and hidden gem. You
won't find a better value for Sushi in Chicago.

Great place for spicy tuna maki! They offer a wonderful chicken
terriyaki & vegetable tempura lunch for about $8.00. They have casual
dining room along with small sushi bar and about 3 private rooms.
They also offer Karoke at night (although I have never been there for
this). Metered parking along Bryn Mawr Ave. Great atmosphere.
