5 stars for the beer, three for the food. The real draw here is the
beer. They brew over 100 different brews throughout the year.
Almost every style they brew is dead on. There are not that many
brewpubs in the US that can do that. The stout varieties are excellent,
especially the country bourbon stout. The ornate wooden bar
area is nice. The food is pub/grill fare, and is decent, but not
great. But I highly recommend the homemade potato chips. They
are simply awesome. But we are in Chicago here, so there is lots
of competition as far as food goes. I highly recommend Goose Island.
I always make a point of stopping in when I am in Chicago. Another
added plus is that the parking is free, and the beers are reasonably
priced (for Chicago)

I love their menu and their beer is terrific, I buy it when not at
the restaurant as well. I found the food very good, the staff seemed
a little aloof though. I did enjoy the sampler beers, my [personal
favorite is honkers ale.

Ok food, nothing special. I try to fill up on the pretzel appetizer
with various dipping sauces. Burgers are ok. The draw is the beer.
They have a beer appreciation club which is a lot of fun. Good family
place, and fun for groups too.

pretty standard brewpub food. If you like beer they have a selection.
The food wasn't interesting, mostly bar and grill stnadards.

They've been brewing great beer there for years, the restaurant
is also quite good. It's just bar food, but it is quality bar
food. The place is a nice atmosphere and serves as a nice break
from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding shopping district.

Goose Island has excellent beer and a great atmosphere to enjoy
it in. Join the MBA club and try all the beer they brew throughout
the year. You'll get prizes after every ten different brews
you drink. They brew close to a hundred throughout the year. Wonderful
wings and you have to try the brautwurst!

THE BEER NEEDS NO IMPROVEMENT AT THIS CLYBOURN CORRIDOR BREWPUB,
THE CITY'S OLDEST, THOUGH MANY FIND THE FOOD "LESS THEN MEMORABLE"
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE "CAN'T STOP EATING THEM" HOMEMADE POTATO
CHIPS, A LONG TIME FAVE. YOUNG, FUN ATMOSHERE MORE THAN MAKES
UP FOR ANY CULINARY LAPSES.

This restaurant is one of my favorites! No matter what I order
it is always delicious.
The service are not outstanding, but generally pleasant; however
the food makes up for it. A great place to go for a casual night out
(dinner & a movie).
Note: Please try the Pasta Salad (it is absolutely fabulous!).

What a fun place!!! Excellent brewery - excellent service - wonderful
food - but, oh my, getting there is, shall we say, interesting!
Not in the best neighborhood but well worth the trip. In fact,
the home brewed beer was so good that we have ordered some to be
shipped to us.
