Apparently alot of famous people have eaten here, from the look of all
their pictures on the walls. Their prices are definitely high, but
probably right on par with higher end restaurants in this area. The
food was very good, though. I had the spicy pork chops. My date had a NY
strip and it was very tasty.

My new favorite restaurant! Although I didn't think it was fair
to have to choose between the yummy cheese course and the unbelievably
rich chocolate desserts so I didn't. Can't think of anything
negative to say except that maybe a little more elbow room would be nice.
Service was immpecable but not at all stuffy. I can't wait to go
back. The salmon terrine appetizer was great, and I'm still dreaming
about the chocolate symphony dessert.

Mixed results. The appetizers (lamb chops in particular) and baked
potato were fantastic. Sadly - my steak was so/so. Cooked just right,
but with little flavor. I knew I wasn't alone when the other folks
at the table started reaching for the seasoned steak salt. A bad sign
and an unnecessary condiment for a truly good steak.

Heard a lot of debate about whether or not Morton's or Gibson's
was the premier steak place in Chicago. They are much more similar than
different, and both are just spectacular. Similar service, similar
aged cuts of fine beef, and great sides. Very nice wine list, although
a bit pricey. You can't go wrong. This place gets crowded, and can
be crazy. Reservations always.

Serive was excellant. Food was ok. Five of us had dinner there last March.
3 Filets, 2 Ribeyes. All were cooked as requested but none had much flavor.
Baked potato was huge and very good. desert was also very good. For flavor,
the steaks at the Chicago Chop house are considerably better.

The steaks are huge, perfectly prepared and the wine selection
has been made incredible due to their beverage manager, a personal
friend, by the name of Michael Alagna! If you go, let him know Mike
