I really enjoy the inventive cuisine at Don Juan's. In addition
to standard Mexican fare, the chef also creates some very interesting
nouvelle cuisine and French-inspired entrees (I believe that
the chef apprenticed at Charlie Trotters!). The desserts are
always delicious. An excellent restaurant with a casual and
friendly atmosphere.

Am looking forward to the REOPENING of this fine local Mexican
Restaurant. Since the fire last Nov/Dec it has been sorely missed.
Food is good, ample selections and great cocktails. Nice little
local restuarant that has made a name for itself in the
quiet northwestern part of the city called Edison Park.
Once it reopens definately a place not to miss.

I must say that for mexican food, this place was pretty good, espcially
being half in the bag trying to hold it down. I do think when I'm
out there again for some reason or another I will go there again...

Don Juan's is one of the best Mexican restaurants around.
The specials are fantastic!! Not something you would expect
to find in a textbook Mexican restaurant. The more
traditional Mexican entrees are VERY good, they will
substitute or modify your order in any way you like. The
wait can be long at times, but it is well worth it.

Food is excelent, in my opinion you cannot find the
flavor of the specials in any restaurant over the
u.s. Food has the real escence of Mexico. You must
be open for new, different, spicy but special
flavors.

The specials are fantastic! The atmosphere is very comfortable, the
wait staff friendly and efficient. The prices on specials are high
for Mexican food but the creativity is far beyond what you usually
find when going Mexican.

Don Juan's, for those who care, is overrated and overpriced. Most
things on the menu are generic-tasting; the specials can be good but
are generally in the $20 range. Not a great find in this fan's
opinion.
