If you like sweet beef barbeque, you may like this place. If you
like real BBQ, the kind that comes from a pig and has a great vinegar-based
sauce, then go somewhere else. There are far too many great BBQ
restaurants around to waste time here. Fans of sweet BBQ are the
only ones who should come here.

This is a hidden gem for the locals. The food is literally the best
barbeque next to Texas. SO GOOD! It's nothing fancy, and the service
is like nothing i've ever experienced. The staff really seems
to enjoy working there. It's a great place to stop by for lunch
where you can get a combo platter with stuff like 3 meats, 2 veggies,
a drink. If you're with a vegetarian, they have great bread and
the vegetables are awesome. This is a definate must, though if
you don't know the area, it may be hard to find.

Thre cheers for Tex.This place is nothing fancy and does not want
to be.Just good plain BBQ and excellebt home cooked vegetables. The
hours are limited to lunch only (11 AM to 2 PM), Monday thru Friday. In
adition to pork BBQ, Tex has beef brisket, smoked sausage, and
even barbequed baloney.I have seen people get the vegetable
plates here only, as they are excellent home cooked choices
such as turnip greens.squash, new potatooes, green beans, jalepeno
beans(ouch), etc. with a little variety daily. He also has ribs
on Thursdays.I actually waivered betwen a four and five rating
hre, but when you find a place in this day and age which is consistent
quality, i give them the nod of a higher rating.
