It is amazing how many local super market delis in LA make such great
food. This is one of them! Possibly the best roast beef po-boy in the
state!

This place is UNBELIEVABLE! It is a must stop on our way into Grand Isle,
just don't speed in that town! The roast beef by far is the most incredible
sandwich they serve. I must give honorable mention are the French Fry
poboy (covered in the roast beef gravy) and the shrimp poboy. Our tradition
is we usually get a shrimp and a roast beef and try to eat both. If we can't
the roast beef is great left over. It's better than cold pizza.
I did make up a new sandwhich there (off menu). The onion ring poboy.
They will fry up some onion rings with lettuce and mayo and cover it in
roast beef gravy. A whole I think only cost $2.50! Your taste buds will
worship you, but your heart will hate you. Happy eats!!!

I've been going to this place since i was born for the fried
oyster poboys. It has definitely become a staple in my family
every time we visit our family in Golden Meadow.

Ok here's the plan. On the way to Grand isle, call ahead and
order whole roast beefs for everyone in the car. Plan about 30
minutes lead time. When you get here grab a coke and hit the road.
Spend the rest of the drive savoring the smell. Grab the food,
hit the beach, and enjoy a delicious, sloppy roast beef poboy
on the beach. When you're done go wash off in the gulf.
