What can you expect? It's Italian. It's St. Charles. If your looking for cheap, but not fast, yet generous portions...go here. I'm here to tell you...this family owned restaurant exsists because of family connections. They pick and choose who they are courteous to. (Read former reviews). They ARE connected..but that doesn't make them friendly OR any better. If you want GREAT food AND fast friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere...GO TO TONY's. Just a few blocks down on Main St. IF you INSIST on going here...luck of the draw my friend. P.S...you should know...the waitresses hands clearing your dirty dishes from the table...are the same ones used to make your salads...no gloves required OR used...EVER Good Luck. : )

The restaurant decore needs a little up grading. The staff was not what I call "warm and friendly." My first visit to any restaurant is to order their basic dish. Who well they prepare their signature dish tells me a lot. The basic pasta and meatballs was gererous. The sauce was a little too thick and sweet for me, but that's region recipe. All considered I wan't impressed. I would go back only to see if maybe they had a "off day."

This restaurant has been open since I was a child. I am now 44 years old. It has always been a favorite of the local people. Their pizza and stuffed mushrooms are fantastic. The prices are great for the quality of food. Because they are so good, you may have to wait a few minutes.
