This is authentic Mexican food not americanized. It is cooked fresh
in an open kitchen, and served with a smile and very quickly. Prices
are real good considering what u get to eat.If you visit this place,
you better be hungry, cause the food is real good.

For take out Mexican there is none better. These are genuine Mexican
folks who take a lot of pride in the food they serve. I saw one guy
using a spoon to pick one errant pinto bean out of the rice dish.
They are that meticilous. The carne asada is awesome, a side of
rice is fluffy and delicious. The salsa verde is hot but flavorful
and the guys behind the counter can juggle complex- substitution
orders without making you repeat yourself even once. This is
the best take out food anywhere on the island.

The BEST burritos...I won't have carnitas anywhere else. Nachos
are excellent too.

I recently moved my business to Alameda from San Francisco and
feared that I would no longer find the quality mexican food that
I enjoyed on the other side of the bay. Ramiro & Sons has more than
satisfied my burrito/taco cravings. The carnitas is excellent.
The meatless taco is also quite good. The portions are large and
the prices are low.The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional.I
would recomend this taqueria without hesitation.

What my husband and I wouldn't give to be living in Alameda
again for the burritos and friendly, fast service at Taqueria
Ramiro & Sons! Here we are in Redwood City now, where you'd
think we could find something comparable, but so far, no luck.
(We would have to go all the way to Mountain View, to La
Bamba, off of Rengstorff, to find better burritos.) Their
rice and guacomole are much more flavorful than the bland
stuff at most places. Salsa is more tomato than onion, and
hot sauce is great. I believe this is owned by the same
people who operate Taqueria Morelia on E 14th St in Oakland.

Best burritos in town. No atmosphere, but there are a few tables for
the few who can't wait.
