Great atmosphere, white jacketed wait staff, and excellent food. The A/C was out in the room we were in - had to ask to be moved. I was delighted by the server's choice of meal - a veal raviolli. Great selection of grappa - I recommend the almond flavor

It's been awhile since we've gone here. I can't remember the atmosphere or service, but I will never forget the taste of the gorgonzola-stuffed gnocchi. To die for...nor will I forget how I tried to make this dish at home. At least we had a good laugh about it. Very good quality food.

I have made Bice my restruant to eat in Chicago. My very first experience started with Maitre D', Ben, who apparentally friends with everyone. He makes every visit and every person feel like they own the place. The food is some of the best Italian food I have had out! The staff is very friendly but can be alittle slow. This is okay if you are with someone that you would like to chat and have a great time with. Just make sure you say hi to Ben.

I went to this place in the summer, and we ate outside, the service was outstanding, the push of wine to finish bottle, and buy another is a lillte over the top, but for the most part the food excellent, and people watching is great.

Stylish with a strong a competent international staff. Indoor as well as sidewalk dining. It was like being back in Italy. Food well prepared with light flavorable sauces. Very generous portions artistically presented.

My last visit to Bice was a huge disappointment. The restaurant remains stylish and attractive but the food suffered from previous visits. The pasta offerings were bland and unoriginal. The meats and poultry selections arrived at the table luke warm. Although competently prepared they lacked any memorable flavors.

This contemporary Northern Italian just off Michigan Avenue is a place to see or be seen. Don't be overwhelmed by the beautifully dressed people in their beautiful European cars, there is great food, and great service, and prices that aren't that bad. Try the mushroom risotto - one of my favorite entrees anywhere.
