Whether authentic Italian or not, the meals are freshly made, excellent, the portions are enormous, and the menu has a good variety of lower to higher priced fare. The location is also a BYOB restaurant, so you may bring your favorite wine, mix your favorite drink, or chug a beer alongside your fettuccini. The atmosphere is another nice aspect, with an open kitchen, usually a packed house, white Christmas lights strung about the dining area with greenery, you feel more like you are on Newburry street in Boston rather than at the end of Airport Rd. in Fitchburg. Take a trip down there on a weekend night and you have a packed house with people hanging in the breezeway and outside drinking wine and waiting to be seated, it is theatre unto itself and makes you feel as if you really are GOING OUT.
