The sushi at the Takahashi tastes wonderful and is always fresh. Probably
my second favorite sushi restaurant after Meeka Sushi on 181st. The
atmosphere is very laid back and the staff is friendly.

Wonderful sushi - authentic, fresh. From the street this place
looks unimpressive, but the parking lot is always full. No reservations
unless your group is larger than 10 or so, so you often have to wait
for a table or seat at the sushi bar. Great staff - not a lot of turnover,
so they get to know their customers. The restaurant is filled
with authentic Japanese "stuff" - saki bottles and zoris and
everything else you can think of, which is within reach so customers
can look at them easily. Not very expensive, but it's difficult
to predict price because of specials on some nights, and the range
of what one can order. A bowl of miso and 6 pcs. of basic sushi may
run $7-$8, or one could order a much more elaborate meal for considerably
more. One of our familys' favorite places to go.
