The Sunrise is a great place to eat if you want some good "home
cooking". It is owned and operated by a family of Greeks
who know their business. The food ranges from sandwiches, to
spaghetti, to dinners with meat and veggies. This restaurant
also serves breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is good, however
there are other places in Charlotte that serve the same breakfast,
and give you just a little more for a lesser price.
The lunch and dinner menus are the same and I have never gotten
anything at the Sunrise that I didn't like. Everything is
very tasty and they have THE BEST stuffing with their baked chicken.
Nobody can make stuffing like this! (I usually get a double order!).
Most of the patrons are regulars and most know each other. The
waitresses are all wonderful and very friendly taking time to
talk with the customers without letting other customers wait
for anything.

The Sunrise also serves breakfast all day which most retaurants
don't do, so if you're in the mood for breakfast at dinner
time, this is the place to go. If you like the "homey, friendly"
atmosphere where everybody knows everybody, this is the place
for you. Nick and Ciro are great!
