Slick's is one of the best known BBQ places in the State. It is in an old motel dinning room currently. The meat is great and the potato salid is also good. The menu is in the old-time African-American traditon. Ask what each serving size is before ordering. Nice people and good service. Call ahead and take it out.

I have always ordered take out from Slick's and was never disappointed when I arrived home. The ribs and smoked sausages are the best in town! This place has been here forever. I highly recommend it.

Great atmosphere and BBQ....if you like rustic surroundings and no frills. You will not get a receipt, or the right change all the time...but you always get a great chopped or sliced beef sandwhich.

This establishment is a legend in Muskogee and the surrounding areas. No atmosphere or fanciness here, just good barbeque prepared by the master himself, Slick (this guy has been around forever). The stars are the ribs and smoked sausages. If you're a rib lover, get off of Interstate 40 and head north to Muskogee when you're traveling across Oklahoma. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy !
