They still got some of the best hamburgers around. You can never go wrong
with a Big Boy combo. Nice thick french fries and the fudge cake, well
that is a little taste of heaven! Nice place to hang out, have some time
just to relax and eat. Just good American food.

Inexpensive, quick service, good food, what more can you say about
a resaurant that has been around since the 50s. Well, there is a reason
for it!

Hi, I stayed in the area before I flew out of Burbank. I walked to Bob's
which was good since they were having a Friday Night Car show. Ordered
the Smothered Roast Beef sandwich. It was great, the gravy was nice
and thick. Service was good, but not perfect since the place was just
packed.

WOW, who has not really eaten here, If not ? Where have you been for the
last 30 yrs. Well first of all this is really a great place for a quick
greasy burger. They are really big and full of flavor and juice. My wife
and I love the milk shakes and the staff is cool also. Try it and you will
agree that its great. This location has a hot looking cook and manager
is hot as well .

Fun Nostalgia. I always must have the great Big Boy Combo. The
very Best Hot Fudge Cake EVER, no other restaurant compares,
though one cannot have a Big Boy Combo and fit in a Hot Fudge Cake
in the same visit, way too much food. Spliting the Hot Fudge Cake
makes it feasible, or come just for the treat at another time.
Good prices, usually a 10 Spot will about cover it, minus the tip
that is appropriate for the pleasant service. As stated, order
Blue Cheese Dressing though on the side, and dip the soft Fries
in the extra dressing. Yum. Go at 4:45 PM on week-nights for speed.

Bob's Big Boy is the best diner chain out there, but if you've
got to go, take the time to drive over the hill to the one in Toluca
Lake. It's a much better building and location, as it should
be--it's a historic landmark.

This burger haven stands head and shoulders above the rest. All
the meat is charbroiled, and the burgers are a far cry from the
fried baby-sized patties found at the typical fast-food joint.
They're lean, big and served with fresh veggies on a nice-sized
bun. From the pastrami burger to the double chiliburger, from
the bacon avocado cheeseburger to the (meatless) garden burger,
Astro has got it covered (stay away from the gamey ostrich burger
and the somewhat flavorless turkey burger). The food is cooked
to order, so be patient--good things come to those who wait.

Food is very good. Atmosphere is primarily family oriented.
Portions are very filling. The deserts are also a must. Truly
feels like grandma's cooking!
