First of all the food is OUTSTANDING !! I have been going there
since it opened and it is one of my favorite Italian restaurants.
<br>
However, one thing really aggrevates me .............
For the past 8 - 10 months, if you call ahead to be placed on their
"preferred seating list", you always get an agrument:
"We are not making a list right now, there is no wait".
After an argument of sorts, they finally take your name and put
it on the list. When we arrive about 15 minutes later, there are
10 - 15 names on the list BEFORE ours. And they weren't making
a list? This has to stop.

As I said the food is great and the waitstaff is very friendly and
professional.

Cafe Luigi is a diamond at bargain prices. The food is out of this
world. Unless you live or work close by, I would recommend Saturdays
for lunch. Luigi's has an extensive lunch special menu at
very reasonable prices. Remember though that here a lunch special
does not mean small portions. I am a very hearty eater and seldom
can finish the lunch specials.

Try the Eggplant and Veal Parmesan. Done perfectly, with rigatoni
on the side. Wonderful.

Cafe Luigis is a great Italian-American restaurant. Their lunch
specials are worth the trip. Large portions for around $7. They
have a wonderful bread that every table gets. Great prices and
great taste! My favorite is the chicken, brocolli tornelli.

Cafe Luigi does a great business, offering Italian-American
cuisine. Lunch is a hot ticket, as the portions are always large
and wonderfully prepared. The service is great, friendly and
efficient. No reservations, but with a hostess who knows what's
going on, you may not need them. Cafe Luigi comes highly recommended.

Luigi's is a decent but unexciting restaurant offering Italian-American
fare. Spaghetti and Meatballs? They've got it. Chicken Parmesan?
No problem. The prices are reasonable and the food is basic but
tasty. I would say the portions are pretty average (but pasta
can be very filling...) for the price.

Get there early -- no reservations but they also do a large takeout
business. Check the daily special board; they are excellent
and plentiful. Fried calamari is a popular appetizer even with
people who don't usually eat calamari. Great bread and good wine
list. Cannoli dessert one of the best. Shrimp Marinara and veal
dishes are their specialty. Part of the Jimmy's chain of restaurants
(Jimmy's at the Mall, Jimmy's Steakhouse in Arlington)

Luigi's is an excellent Italian restaurant because the food
is delicious and reasonable. We especially love the Shrimp Verdichio
which is pasta and shrimp with black olives, capers, mushrooms,
sun dried tomatoes and artichokes in a light garlic sauce. There
is a lobster dish with green tortelinis that is excellent. The
veal parm is very good. The serving size is large and all under
$10. No salad included but a delicious antipasto can be had for
$5.95 that can feed 3. Great Italian bread is also served. They
are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Service is great. No
reservations necessary. Large menu. A must for everyone in the
area!
