I'm not quite sure what"Gene" is talking about. This place is great! The atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff is always friendly. I had a New York that was tender and cooked to perfection. If memory serves, it was about $12. I say go there!

This place should not be called a diner, it's expensive even for the city and gives small portions. The atmosphere is dark and eligant, which also does not fit a diner. With so many better options throughout Adams Morgan, don't get suckered into this place just because it's across the street from some of the best bars.
