I have lived in Northridge for many years and Shogun Sushi has been by
far my favorite restaurant since it opnened it's doors. The Tempura
Shrimp and Vegetables and the Baked Salmon Roll are favorites.

Entrees and combinations are priced up to $10.95. Lunch combination
bento boxes are generally around $6.95.
Portions are good sized.
The one fault I have is that service can be a bit slow. The food is
very good by almost anyone's standards. Being Japanese American
myself, I am extremely picky about how sushi and other Japanese
dishes are prepared. Few Japanese restaurants make even 4 stars
with me - much less, five. This one comes very close to 4 stars.
This is a very good place, which I personally rate as being a small
step down from Kabuki Sushi - located a few blocks south of this
restaurant.

Shogun Sushi Features a fun atmosphere with extremely efficient
waiters and waitresses. The service is always fast and friendly.
You can expect to spend anywhhere from $2.40 to $3.95 for sushi
such as Yellowtail, Sea Bass, Halibut, etc. How about $3.70 for
a Spicy Tuna Handroll? The cooked entrees such as Teriyaki Chicken
and beef are priced from $9.95 up. Always fresh and always tasty.
Shogun Sushi is the best bet for your buck in the San Fernando Valley.

Very Good quality Japanese food at extremely reasonable prices.
Shogun Sushi is located in a small strip mall, next to a Bank of
America, just due south of the Southeast corner of Reseda Blvd
at Devonshire Street.
Parking can be tight.
This is a medium sized restaurant, with a separate sushi bar and
both booth and table seating. It advertises itself as a "half
price sushi" restaurant -- it is really good to know that the quality
is not missing with the extra price!

Shogun Sushi is one of the premier Japanese Cuisine and Sushi
Bars in the Los Angeles Valley Area.
Received a 5-Star rating from Los Angeles Times Food Critic,
Shogun does all of this while providing the freshest and tastiest
Sushi around at 1/2 price. Yes, that right 1/2 price, you can eat
twice as much and not pay a penny more. I recommend it highly.
