The location can't be beat. The restaurant is always clean and lively. The service is hit or miss, it depends on who your server is. The food is average Ruby's fare. The burgers are always cooked well, the chili fries are delicious, and the shakes and malts are delicious.

An awesome location, on one of the longest public piers around. Try to get one of the few tables upstairs by the windows. You have a perfect view of the water. Good food. Fun 50's diner style enviroment and food. Great shakes.

Average food. Typical Ruby's fare. Burgers, sandwichs, nothing too exciting. Food is good, selection is limited. Few come for the food. The location can't be beat. Located at the end of the Oceanside Pier, over the water. Great sunsets and romantic location. Great views. Oceanside has renovated the area lately, and is getting better. Golf cart shuttle for lazy people.

Great food! Love the balcony seating with a great view. Friendly service, almost takes you back in time. I always get the mushroom swiss burger. Their shakes are the best and so is their clam chowder.

Good food, quick and frendly service. Be sure to try the chili in a sourdough bowl or the chili size (no beans). You might want to avoid the coleslaw but everything else I have tried is very good.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Really fun to eat at. The location is great...being at the end of the oceanside pier. It's so beautiful!! The shooby dooby shuttle is also available when you're too full after your meal to make the walk back to shore...hehe! great place.

Ever had a Blue Cheese Burger? Fantastic!!!!! The walk out on the Oceanside pier is beautiful and I really like the atmosphere. If you don't want to walk the pier or can't, Ruby's has a shuttle for 50 cents a person. I have never had dinner here.
