Service was lacking this time...there were only 6 tables in our area and our waiter didn't get to us in a timely fashion. The host/manager that sat us ended up serving us; he was very nice though. Asked few times for salsa refills and they would forget..but they have a "macho" salsa that is very good. The food quality is still very good and portion sizes haven't changed.

The recent visit this time was not up to their normal standard. The reg salsa was watery and the "spicy" was only about a medium. The food portion sizes I don't think have changed, still lots of food and the taste has changed their either. Clearly the service is still GREAT! Timothy was our server this time, thanks!

Horrible! Batender was great!, Manager with the scars, talking about "massages" in front of 16 year old girls and clients, was not what I wanted to walk into, but I thought it could only get better. I ordered a chimichanga, burnt, tasted bad, and meat was cheap, rice and beans were dry, "hot sauce" my child could drink out of a bottle. I was told to go there cause of the size of the meal. I could go to taco bell and get 10 burritos that would taste better, and still be cheaper. soft drinks $2, give me a break. cheap quality, the managers are rude and a total rip off!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been going to this restaurant since 1995. It is our favorite Mexican restaurant that we consistently recommend to anyone that ever asks and is willing to travel to Scottsdale. The service is friendly, the salsa and the food is alway well-prepared with VERY LARGE portions. We traditionally order the same thing everytime; however, occassionally we try something different and have never been unhappy. We eat at this restaurant at least once a month.

We have been going to this restaurant and the previous location on Camelback since we moved to Arizona in 1990. It is our favorite Mexican restaurant by far. The service is friendly, the salsa and margaritas are excellent, and the food is alway well-prepared with huge portions. They also have six choices on the "early-bird" menu (3-6 p.m. daily) that each cost $7.50. We eat at this restaurant at least once a month.
