I attended J. Alexanders on Thursday June 1st. The service my party and I received was very insulting and unprofessional. We went to dinner at 9:15, our waiter acted annoyed with us and treated us like a burden. He never asked how are our food was, checked on our drinks, and made us seek him out for a refill. He brought us our bill and took away our food without asking if we were finished yet or if we would like anything else. Even when he brought the bill we said "Thank You", and his response was "No Problem." He never gave us his name or made us feel welcome at the restaurant. Needless to say; neither me or anyone else in my party will be attending J. Alexanders again and I don't suggest anyone else does either. The food was good, but unfortunately it is the service that you remember.

Very nice restaurant. Atmosphere is great, Service is great, food is very good just a little overpriced. You can get the same quality food elsewhere for less, but the atmosphere can't be beat.

Prime rib is excellent. A little pricey but worth it. Usually is a long wait, sometimes over an hour depending on the time and day. Has good size bar waiting area. Prompt, cheerful service.

This is a VERY nice place to go to! The service is always great, the food is some of the best i've ever tasted! It is a nicer restaurant so dress nice. The serving size of the meals is very large. The dinner salads could be a meal in themselves. The bread that comes along with the salad is my favorite!

This is a fine dining atmosphere that accepts the casual diner. The white tablecloth/napkin and decked out servers makes for a nice presentation of the establishment. We were there one day, underdressed in my opinion, and they accepted us! The open kitchen allows the customer to have a good view of the action. Food was excellent; large portions and beautiful presentation. Dinner salads cost extra, but they are huge. One can easily get by without the salad. Anything on the menu is worth a try. For the most part, very friendly and prompt service.
