Angelos & Vincis Cafe Restaurant

Went here for my niece's birthday, and was amazed by this restaurant. There were were about 20 other people waiting for a table when we arrived (A&V's only accepts reservations for parties of 8 or more) but we were seated in less than ten minutes. A&Vs is not a quiet restaurant. The place was packed with happy people, including a wedding reception in a side room. Our waiter was very agreeable, although it was plain to see that he was run off his feet servicing so many tables. The quantity of food served is like no place I have ever been to before, and that includes Claim Jumper (which previously held first place). The mostaccioli (my choice) was sufficient for three people, and was so incredibly full of hot melted cheeses, pasta, and sauce topped with a mild sausage. The linguini and clams, although I didnt get to taste it, was packed full of clams in alfredo sauce and about a pound of pasta. Over all, Angelo and Vinci's is an incredible value for the quality and quantity of food served, and appears to be a very popular place to eat. The interior looks like Cirque du Soleil meets The Godfather, and there is a wine cellar called the Monster Cave which we didnt get to see. Very much recommended for family gatherings and maybe even a wedding reception, just be careful with the meatballs and a white dress. less
