If you try this place you have to do the beer flight! The salmon entree was excellent! This place has better than the usual bar fare! Many great choices on the menu. But do the beer flights!

I see a few people have reviewed this, so i'll try to focus on what they didnt cover. the best time to go is of course happy hour. but the best happy hour to go at is wednesdays after 10pm. not only are all appetizers half off, but the beers are 2 dollars a pint, and they usually have a special on a mixed drink as well (like limon shots, kamikazes, etc.) the quality of the beer is of course, excellent. the amber lager is a good safe beer to go with, and their light is also suprisingly tasty. the oktoberfest beer (available only during october) is absolutely excellent, as is the red trolley ale. i recommend either of these two. the rest of the beer menu on tap will change from month to month, so there is always something to try out. finally on wednesdays at midnight, they have a good old fashioned raffle where you can win prizes like glass pints, mugs, shirts, and jugs of beer. good fun all around, and a bunch of good-looking people

Great location right in the heart of downtown La Jolla. Their selection of beers makes it all worthwhile. The food is better than average bar food and the atmosphere is nice. Happy Hour is your best bet.

The best time to go here is happy hour 4PM-7PM. Eat at the bar, or a booth nearby. Also check it out on wednesdays after 10PM.

the mediterranean pizza is okay. they have many, many beers in man, many shades. the wait will be quite long on a weekend evening. looks like the seafood is pretty good. it's a really lively looking place. Too bad i had an upset stomach the nite i went there n' ended up throwing up in the bathroom. i'm sure it had nuthin' to do w/ the food or beer.
