Just writing this makes me want a it. beef with mozz. and a large fry. they make some of the best fries around, and the food is good too. It still amazes me how they can move so many people so quickly while making all the food fresh for you. Great place especially when you are in a hurry.

The best feature of Portillo's has got to be the atmosphere. They've got music playing that makes you feel like you're in an awesome Chicago restaurant in the 1920s. Then the "subconcious" things like high ceilings, and the perfect amount of lighting to go out and have a good time makes the atmosphere great. <br> Additionally, the food is always good. You get real burgers and real fries, not the tiny stuff that you get in a fast food restaurant.
