A nice cozy old house in a replica cajun village on a highway to the Plantation Roads east of Baton Rouge off Interstate 10. Snuggled among old building housing art shops, museums, and a tourist information center. The menu is small but great use of local favorites, a shrip beignet and coffe is a filling lunch. Shrimp Creole served over a french doughnut, with rice. Plus some good coffee. A nice way to spend a little time learning cajun culture and eating good food. Do not pass it up it is better than it looks.
