AWESOME! We go about 2-3 times a week, we can't get enough! Cool decor, friendly service, great prices and phenomenal food. Daily special make it even better. A must-go in Manayunk (a sigh of relief to our wallet considering all the overpriced restaurants on Main St!)

Forget Pat's. Forget Joe's. Hoagies Plus is the new king of classic Philadelphia food. Even better than Gooie Looie's in South Philly, you can get a cheese steak or a hoagie here that will do you for 2 or even 3 meals. Their specialty is the "Hoagies Plus Hoagie" which consists of 9 meats and cheeses on a whole 22" loaf of Italian bread($8.25)! or a half loaf for $4.30. My fave here is a tuna hoagie with provalone cheese and cappicola ham! mmmmm..... They also have an excellent mixed cheese hoagie and I once got them to make me a hot ham sandwich (a cheese steak with ham instead of steak) even though it wasn't on the menu. Definitely worth a try once you are ready to venture away from the touristy mall-like strip on South St, Hoagies Plus is located at the intersection of G and Tioga Sts, about 4 blocks (2 west and 2 north) away from Kensington and Allegheny (K&A).
