If you want home-style cooking this is the place to go. The portions are big and you must bring your appetite. Wonderful food and a good quiet atmosphere for the family.

I was very impressed with the food, atmosphere and service here. I only had breakfast, but everything was excellent(try the Eggs Benedict)and I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in the area.

A great breakfast place; the muffins are out of this world (try the spice for sure).
They used to have banna-nut pancakes - but they discontinued them...
A bit busy on the weekends.

Great food, nice comfortable environment and grea service. Love the French onion soup, it's the best. Kind of has an italy feel too it.

Eggs Houssard on the recommendation of the waiter. The meal was decadent, rich and delicious. Eggs Houssard is very similar to Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise and Marchand de Vin sauce crown poached eggs, grilled ham and sliced tomatoes on an English muffin with redskin potatoes. The meal cost about $8.78 and while this is a little on the expensive side it was a great value for the quality of the food. You also got a juice with the meal. You could easily spend $6.00 for a lousy breakfast and pay another $1.50 or more for juice at many restaurants. While this isn't something that I'd eat everyday (because it's loaded with calories) I'll be going back to Mimi's next time I get a hankering for Eggs Benedict or Eggs Houssard.

Definitely some of the best French Onion Soup around! Also some very hot desserts. Always consistent with good food and good service.

Talk about a great family restaurant. This chain is the best. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great and the service is always top notch (they pride themselves in training their help correctly) Try their French Onion soup (served daily) or their pot roast. They have the best 1000 Island dressing around. But on Fridays they have the best Clam Chowder in Southern California. Bring the Kids. This is real family dining.
