But Goode hit upon a winning combination of authentic Texas barbecue
and caring service. That first cafe has grown into four restaurants
under the Goode Co. banner. Even though Goode has since added
burgers and seafood to his lineup, barbecue remains the company's
mainstay. At Goode Co., the barbecue is slow-cooked for 16 hours,
making it mouthwatering tender. Then it's topped with a
delicious sauce bursting with smoky, tomato flavor

I love this place! It's a great place to go for an ice cold beer
or margarita after work, sit back and relax outside. Most everything
on the menu is good, enough of it, and dont have to worry about what
you wear in....

Willie's Icehouse and Grill is a favorite spot for hungry
residents of Jersey Village and Cy-Fair, who descend on this
rustic restaurant for cold beer and hot food. Willie has two brother
locations on Highway 6 North and FM 1960 West, and all three locations
have capitalized on the idea of including a sandbox/playground
to encourage parents to bring their kids. The concept has worked
out beautifully, as Willie's is one of the most popular eateries
for families. The menu is all-American greasy spoon, with a little
Tex-Mex for variety. Certain dishes, such as the chicken-fried
steak, are big enough to feed an entire family. Cold beer is served
out of metal horse troughs, and the wooden tables are peppered
with condiments and paper towel rolls. The fresh-faced wait
staff is friendly, prompt and energetic, and the menu prices
are low enough to ensure you have enough cash left to leave a decent
tip.

Great place for dinner with friends and be sure to include the
kids. Their food is very delicious. One of my favorites is the
Chicken Taco Salad with queso instead of shredded cheese. Their
prices are very affordable and with the sand box to keep the kids
occupied, you can hang out and visit for a while and you won't
hear the kids whining about wanting to go home. Very simple yet
rustic atmosphere. Very friendly staff and it really seems like
everyone is enjoying their job too.

I love the down-home, unpretentious attitude of this restaurant.
It is a great place to hang out with friends and drink a beer. Their
beer-battered onion rings are excellent.
